Safer at Home Orders May 15, 2020

With the end of the Safer at Home Orders and with the hope that the COVID-19 pandemic is behind us, we would like to tell you about how we will conduct our business going forward.
1. We are open. We have been open and will continue to be open to take care of your legal needs. We have ended our locked front door policy. You may come into our office during business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and have a live person take care of you. If you prefer, you may continue to drop off documents at our mailbox by the front door. Please do not hesitate to use this mailbox at any time during the day and any day during the week. We check that mailbox regularly during the business day.
2. Appointments. We have learned how to do our work differently over the last couple of months and are pleased to tell you that we can accommodate appointments with clients as follows:
a. In-person. We will offer in-person appointments with attorneys and their staff people effectively immediately. All you need to do is ask. We do request that if you are not feeling well or believe that you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, that you please not avail yourself of this opportunity. You are welcome to use a mask. We will have disposable masks at our front desk for your use if you feel more comfortable with that. As always, we ask that you please not bring children to any appointment at our office. Please leave children in the care of a responsible adult when you come in to speak to us.
b. Telephonic appointments. It has honestly been difficult for me to adapt to more telephone appointments. I am not a good telephone speaker type of person. However, I have begun to learn how to make sure that I use the telephone effectively. I pledge that I will continue to do that. We will offer telephonic appointments with our clients. It is a matter of convenience, it works, and I think we can continue this practice going forward.
c. Zoom. We have become proficient in Zoom meetings. If you have a computer with Zoom installed on it and would like to still have that face to face kind of contact, we would be happy to have appointments via Zoom. Zoom will allow us to share documents during our conversation and may be a very practical alternative to an in-person office conference.
Let us know how we can better serve you. We look forward to continuing to serve you.
Very truly yours,DARROW & DIETRICH, S.C.
